There are many ways to support Blue Water Wish for Kids and help us serve local children and families throughout the Blue Water area. Whether you donate, shop our wish lists, volunteer, adopt through A Wish for Christmas, host a collection drive, or partner with us, every act of support helps strengthen our mission.
📦 Donate Items
Donated items help support local children and families through Blue Water Wish for Kids programs throughout the year.
Needed items may include hygiene products, household essentials, baby items, clothing, school supplies, seasonal necessities, and other family needs.
During the Christmas season, we also accept donations of new toys, gifts, stocking stuffers, and other holiday items to support children and families participating in A Wish for Christmas.
Item needs may vary throughout the year based on current programs, family requests, and available community support.
🛍️ Shop Our Wish Lists
Shop our Amazon and Walmart wish lists to help keep needed items on hand for local children and families. Our lists are updated throughout the year based on current program needs and may include personal-care items, household essentials, children's basics, baby and toddler needs, and seasonal items.
Purchasing directly from our wish lists helps BWWFK stock the items our programs need most.
💰 Donate Financially
Financial donations help support year-round programs, emergency assistance, Blessing Essentials, Back-to-School Support, A Wish for Christmas, Building Strong Families, and other community initiatives.
🎄 A Wish for Christmas
Help make Christmas brighter for local children and families through A Wish for Christmas. Each holiday season, Blue Water Wish for Kids works to provide Christmas assistance to local families through community adoptions, donated gifts, wish-list purchases, and gifts provided directly by BWWFK.
Supporters can adopt a child or family, shop our Christmas wish lists, donate new toys and gifts for children and teens, contribute financially toward Christmas gifts, or help us stock our Christmas inventory with gifts BWWFK can use to fulfill the wishes and needs of local children throughout the holiday season.
Each year, we receive more requests for Christmas assistance than our available resources can support. By building our Christmas inventory and resources ahead of time, we hope to provide gifts directly to more children and families and reduce the number we must turn away due to limited resources.
Our goal isn't simply to collect more - it's to be prepared to help more. 🎄💙
🤝 Volunteer
Volunteers help make our programs possible throughout the year. Opportunities may include sorting and organizing donations, preparing Blessing Essentials, shopping for program needs, assisting with donation pickups and drop-offs, helping with events, and delivering assistance to local families.
During A Wish for Christmas, additional opportunities may include collecting and sorting donated gifts, helping gather items for family wish lists, wrapping gifts, assisting with pickups and drop-offs, and helping with Christmas deliveries.
Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year based on current programs and community needs.
🏢 Business & Community Partnerships
Businesses, churches, schools, clubs, and organizations can support BWWFK by hosting donation bins or collection drives, sponsoring programs, organizing fundraisers, donating needed items, providing services, or partnering with us in other ways to support local children and families.
